Mannanoligosaccharides (MOS) are a new type of antigenic active substance extracted from yeast cell walls. They have good physicochemical properties such as low heat, stability, safety and non-toxicity. Mannanoligosaccharides extracted from yeast cell walls can withstand the high-temperature processing of feed and maintain the integrity of their structure and function without being destroyed. They are generally stable at physiological pH and under normal feed processing conditions, and are easily soluble in water and other polar solvents.

They are mainly found in the cell walls of microorganisms such as guar gum, konjac powder, and tara gum. They have the function of protecting the intestines and improving animal immunity.
