Hydrolyzed feather meal is yellow granular (or powdery). It is hydrolyzed under high temperature and high pressure for more than 5 hours. The hydrolysis is complete, the disulfide bonds of the feathers are completely broken, and the keratin fibers are transformed into smaller protein subunits and linearly arranged peptide chains, making it easy for animals to digest and absorb. Crude protein ≥ 80%, ash content 3-5%, freshness (volatile basic nitrogen, VBN) about 100mg/100g. During the processing of hydrolyzed feather meal, amino acids are less damaged, the quality is stable, sterile, salt-free, non-deliquescent, palatability and fluidity are good; it contains 80-85% crude protein, pig digestible energy of 3200Kcal/kg, metabolic energy of 2900Kcal/kg. Hydrolyzed feather meal is a high-protein feed raw material, rich in protein, energy and minerals. During feed processing, it is often added to pig, poultry, ruminants and aquatic animal feed to reduce the amount of soybean meal, fish meal, chicken meal, pork meal, etc.
