Chitosan, also known as chitosan oligosaccharide or chitosan oligomer, is an oligosaccharide with a degree of polymerization between 2 and 20, obtained by degrading chitosan using special bioenzyme technology. Feed-grade chitosan oligosaccharide has good water solubility, great functionality, high biological activity, non-toxic metabolic products, and is non-antigenic. It is a new type of green feed additive.
