Copper oxide is an inorganic substance, with the chemical formula CuO, which is a black oxide of copper, slightly amphoteric and slightly hygroscopic. Copper oxide wire is a black to brownish-black short filamentous solid. It can be used as a feed additive in the veterinary drug industry, or as a copper supplement in capsules, for the solution of copper deficiency in cattle, calves, sheep, goats, deer and camels. Suitable for adding to pig feed, poultry feed and aquatic feed as well.
